TACOS one box of tacos shells or you can buy corn tortillas and fry them yourself. * 3/4 pound ground beef, lean 1 can taco sauce 1 onion, chopped 2 tomatoes, chopped Shredded lettuce 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese Dash of garlic powder Dash of chill powder * How to make taco shells: In heavy skillet heat 1/4 inch cooking oil. Fry each tortilla for 10 seconds or until limp. With tongs fold tortilla in half and continue frying, holding edges apart. Cook 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 minutes longer or until crisp, turning once. Drain on paper towels. Arrange taco shells on a baking sheet, Warm oven to 325 F. Cook ground beef until brown, drain off all fat. Add garlic and chili powders, mixing well. Stuff each taco shell with some of the meat, lettuce, onion, tomatoes, and cheese. Heat in oven until cheese melts about ?-10 mins. Pass the taco sauce! Makes 12 tacos (4-6 servings)
