                        Sweet Fried Nuts  Tiar~zha netao)

  2 C thelled pecan halves
  3-4 C boiling water
  1/2 o sugar
  1 t Water
  3 c peanut oil

  1,  Cover nuts with boilin water and soak for three minutes.

  2.  Urain nuts and mix with sugar.   Add 1 t  water   i~ necessary  to  make
  sugar stick to nuts.

  3.  ~ut sugared nuts on a dry plate and dr~ overnight or longer.

  4.  Reat oil in wok.   Fry nuts  until  they  are  golden  brown  and  sugar
  coating is crisp and candyj.ike.  Dry on a plate and break apart to serve.
