Old-Fashioned Rhubarb Sauce        Jen Sell, Fannington, MN

This sauce brings back the sweetest memories of my childhood.
My neighbor's mom always used to make this. .. it's yummy served
by itself and it's good on vanilla ice cream too.

4 c. rhubarb, chopped         1/2 c. water
3/4 c. sugar

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring
occasionally. Reduce heat to low; simmer for 10 to 12 minutes or until
rhubarb is tender. Continue to stir until rhubarb breaks up and thickens
slightly, Serves 4 to 6.
