Gin Duey Recipe by: Barbara Ghau 443-4522 2 cups sweet rice flour 1/4 cup brown sugar (packed) 2/3 cup water sweet bean paste for filling sesame seed oil for deep frying Bring tne water and brown sugar to a boil, let it simmer for a couple of minutes. Put sweet rice flour in a bowl and pour the boiling sugar water in. Mix to form a soft dough. Divide the dough into 15 small balls. Dip in sesame seed. Flatten out each ball and fill in 1/2 tsp sweet bean paste. Roll the filled ball in palms to smooth it. Heat oil to about 350 degree. Lower a few of the filled balls into the oil, let it fry for 1 minute and then use a spoon to punch the ball gently against the sides of the wok, the ball then will swell up. Fry untill golden brown. (OK, nothing super) (freeze after cooked. thaw first, reheat 450 F for 5 - 7 minutes) (fill with crushed peanuts and cocoanut)
