FRIED PRAWNS WITH TOMATO SAUCE Recipe by Barbara Chau 443-4522 1 lb. medium prawns 2 pieces ginger 1 green onion, cut into inch lengths 2 tbsp oil 1 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper Sauce 1/4 cup catsup 1 tbsp soy sauce 1/2 tsp sugar 1/4 tsp cornstarch 2 tsp sherry 1. Cut prawns down the back and remove the vein. Clean and mix prawns with salt and pepper. 2. Mix the sauce 3. Heat tne oil, put in ginger and green onion, fry for a few seconds. Disgard ginger. Add prawns and fry until prawns change color, then add the sauce. Fry for one to two more minutes.
